formatting for a table

Is there a convenient way to post a table, like from excel? Without handcrafted HTML? I was thinking of posting a list that shows various amps, watts, weight, sizes. Interesting with the number of amps under 10 lbs.

There is no table syntax for vbulletin - however you could do this if you make it a wiki article in our Wiki - which could easily be linked to in a post. I'm afraid I'm not currently up on the table syntax for wiki articles, but there is a ton of info here:

And some help for the TB Wiki:

Thanks Paul! So, would it be appropriate to post a wiki that basically summarizes the current bass gear available, with the published specs? A table on bass heads, a table on cabs, a table on combos, with dimensions, power, spl, freq resp etc. Maybe list price and street price, and a link to the website of the manufacturer.

If I did post this, would other people be able to add or update the table? That is kind of the idea with Wiki, but the syntax for tables is easy to get wrong.

Absolutely, it'd be a great addition. Other people would be able to edit it, but if anything is screwed up it's super easy to 'roll back' to any previously saved version of the article.
