| Subscribed threads not being marked read

For the past few weeks, I've been noticing that subscribed threads show up as unread under "My Talkbass" even after I've viewed the current last message. It also seems as if they are properly marked read in the current session, but become "unread" when I come back to the site shortly after.
This is somewhat troubling as the false positive means that I end up having to go back to threads I've already read to check to see if there are actually new messages when there are none.
Not sure why this might be, cookie problem, database, or ???
This happens in Firefox, version doesn't seem to matter. Also, it doesn't seem to happen on other forums with a similar layout.
