18mm bridge for Fender P5?

I have a Fender American Standard P5 - it's currently up for sale or trade in the classifieds, BUT I really like it and am willing to try and make if work if I can find an 18mm bridge that will fit it properly. Does anyone know if there is an 18mm bridge that exists that will fit the standard Fender spacing?

I believe MIM Bridge is 18MM spacing but Not 100% positive. Worth checking into it though. Or of course the Hipshot.

Hmm... Looks like the second one is a direct fit. Excellent!

what is it now, like 18.5? its got adjustable saddles right? i use the american deluxe 5 bridge with its different string slots pulled in tight on my nordy 5 which has the same neck heel width as a 17.5m stingray 5.

Hey Joe,

It's currently 19mm. It does have the slotted saddles, but I'll only be able to get the middle three strings in to 18mm because there are only 3 slots, so the outside strings (B & G) will still be at 19mm because all the strings are in the centre slots.

Much appreciated anyway.

George

I'm pretty sure the standard Fender spacing is 18mm or maybe 18.2mm. You might want to check your bridge again.

Oh I double checked alright - 3/4" from string centre to string centre. That is 19mm, right?

3/4" is 19.05mm. The Hipshots (pick your style) are a good replacement with 18mm spacing. The .708 spacing is 18mm.
