1974 Fender Precision saved from molestation

Hey guys, I recently finished a project that I started October 24th, 2012. I bought it off of ebay and it needed help. Got all of the other parts shortly after and finally have it finished. Originally an olympic white from '74 as evidenced in the neck pocket and pickup and ground "jelly bean" under the bridge. See photo's and ask questions or comments. Thank you. Oh yah it's alder and fully assembled weighs exactly 8 lbs.

Finished product after a lot of passion and determination. Had to create the wiring channel routs and "jelly bean" by making tracing's off of my
1976 Fender P. Next picture will be the as playable condition. Also the pickups are super loud as they read 11.25 kOhms! All 1974 parts used including pots with original solder 38th wk of '74 and 51st wk of '74..serial number plate original to pots reads 585884. Also the neck is just a hair under 1 5/8" maple board and frets are great and original.

Here is another angle of the jazz rout that somehow has remained completely hidden under the can and a half of clear coat... Two cans of spray bomb wimbledon white from autozone and one can for the base of olympic white with a "dusting" of Guitar Reranch "Fender neck amber" lightly dusted gives the "aged" yellowing olympic white appearance. I don't do this for a living , more of a helper of basses and guitars in need of help!

The first picture should have been the one with the ugly routes and the stripped body. I'm sorry if they didn't show up in order. I'll try to repost that one. It also had a side mounted jack I had to fill. I have a ton of pictures of the progression too. Just didn't think anyone would want to see those. Thanks for the kind words.

I kinda worded my post incorrectly. I opened this thread expecting to see an unmolested 74 pbass. I saw that first pic with all the routes and was surprised. Either way, it looks great! The reranch amber on the body is an excellent touch.
