1981 L2KE SWITCH QUESTION

I am looking at an 81 L2KE for purchase and the boost switch (white one ) closest to the bridge, does not seem to fully function, the first two positions do not work no sound at all however the third switch position the OMG position works perfectly . Is this just a switch replacement or????? Hoping its minor.l
What do I need to do to fix this?
Thanks !!!

Battery was pretty dead but would this allow only partial function of the preamp?

The position that works could be the passive toggle. Could be a preamp problem.

The switch closest to the bridge is to select between two active and one passive settings. Switched toward the bridge is passive. You probably just have a dead battery.

I have an 82 L2Ke and I don't know of any "oh my god" setting on mine. I thought that was only on the passive LK1 basses, but I am no expert.

Here is a thread on the subject: http://www.bassesbyleo.com/forum/vie...t=789&start=10
