Looks like a Geddy with an extra knob.

Not going to have too many people in this club yet since these were just released.

What's up with the bizarre headstock string retainer system Fender is using on these? That little arm coming off of the A string gear looks odd.

It shouldn't take to long to fill up the club spots because Musicians Friend appears to have sold out. Ah shucks! Like I really the scratch to get one.

I'll be in the club as soon as Fender does their offical release. I got my eye on a Blonde P with a maple neck. and LaBella flats.

Looks like a genius idea, the A string causes me so much trouble.

They're using them on the B-string on the 5ers too. They're marketing it as a "Stealth String Retainer"

Looks and sounds like a good idea to me.

You can see the stealth string retainer on the B string in the pics above. Pretty cool idea, but it seems to me that it would just be easier to put one of those straight-across bar-style retainers like Sadowsky and several others use.

Haha! It really is! But I kinda like the simple black as well. IMO, it just adds a little attitude, like a goatee on a babyface. Or maybe not.
