5 String to 6 String?

Just a question for those who play 5 string and have moved to 6 string. I might be trading one of my 5 strings for a 6. I have never really played a 6, but I am very comfortable on my 5's. Any tips for switching over and mastering the 6 string?

You could always try restringing one of your 5's to EADGC for a bit to see if you like having that high C. It's the only musical difference. Other than that it's really just the mechanics of possibly different spacing and right/left hand technique.

Thats a cool idea. Might give it a whirl. I guess I should really look outside my comfort zone and be confident. I cant imagine the high C being too much more of a strain for me. Also might be nice to ad a little more musical challenge to my practicing. I have the urge to start learning more chord structured bass parts and even to start dabbling more with tapping.
