Both Warmoth...... The Ray: Nordy 5.2 pickup and John East MM SR 2 band pre. Alder body, Maple neck w/rosewood board Bound & Blocked in pearl


G5: Bart pickups and pre. Swamp Ash and Quilt Maple G5 Body, neck (different, in the picture it's the neck that is on The Ray now) Maple w/Pau Ferro board Warmoth Deluxe 5

I had decals made that say "Hayden Custom Bass" (in a Fender like font) and 001 & 002 You can kinda see it on the Ray headstock.


Plus I've got a Schecter Diamond p 5 Custom on the way.....

Well guys, it must have been about 3 years ago that I joined the 5-string club (I'm number 60)... where does the time go? For a while I was handing out the numbers, then with the demands of college and ministry I vanished off the face of the earth (in terms of this forum, anyway).

I joined this club with a Peavey millennium BXP 5 (just a cheap import, but a great easy to play bass regardless), and since gave it to a friend after moving on to a 6 string, leaving the only 5 string in my stable to be an SX fretless jazz that I just like to mess around with. That bass spends most of it time at a guitarist friends house now...

So, long story short, after being mainly a 6 string player for quite a while, I am now awaiting the arrival of a new 5 string, which I hope will become my main bass, a Warwick Streamer $$, bought from Basscentral (best customer service I have EVER experienced, btw). The bass should be here early next week, and I'll try to remember to post an update then.

I'm so excited to rejoin my brothers in the 5-string club!
