The 50's in color!

Inspired by recent 50's P GAS, and a Fiesta Red '54-style Lull P in the FS section, show me some of your '51-'56 P's and Reissues in finishes besides sunburst and butterscotch blonde!

I may commission a MJT build after finding my favorite non- traditional finish for one of these.

Not mine - I found this while doing a Bing image search for precisions finished in burgundy mist to help me decide on a pick guard for one I'm having refinished in this color. Fender custom shop '51 reissue:



The black looks cool, but tortise shell totally rocks with burgundy mist (sorry, this one's a jazz):

Here is a 2000s MIM P that someone painted over in house paint. I picked it up for short money, a did a shell pink number. Looks pretty good!

EDIT: it's a rattle can refin, and I think the official color is "cotton candy." Or "ballet slipper." Either way I gigged it Friday night.
