'70s Jazz bass position markers

Were there any Fender Jazz bass that came out in the '70s that didn't have block position markers and bound fingerboard? Thanks.

All 70s Jazz Basses are blocked and bound. 1973 was the last year for black blocks and binding, although there are a few '74s with the aforementioned. Don't be confused by dot neck Jazz Basses with an S 8 serial number, those are from '82 and '83.
