80's Squire P-bass MIJ

I've been looking for a P-bass and have found an 80's Squire that was made in Japan. I admit I'm not that familiar with MIJ Squires. Can anyone provide any first-hand knowledge? Thanks.

If it sounds good and feels good, then it is a good bass.

The MIJ Squiers have a great reputation around here. If it's a decent price, scoop it up!

I love mine. If frets are in decent shape and truss has life left and no neck twists etc... Get it. Usually you can get them pretty cheap

If it feels fine then GO!
I have one, -82 jv, that I love, sometimes more than my
MIA 1975 precision.
Itīs the sunburst in the middle.
The Jazz bass is a MIJ squier jv -83
that forced me to stop being a p-bass-only
person. So sweet!
