88 Warwick NT 6
Hi Folks! Any opinions on an 88 Warwick NT 6 String? How about $3000 Cdn (about $3100US) for the price? Thx!

My bad! I retract that statement and apologize. It looks like you totally are.
Are you buying or selling? I think patience will determine the price you'll ultimately pay or receive.I've been on the hunt for an 80s to 90s THumb NT for a couple months meow. I've seen NTs from $1700 to about $2300, granted that price was for 5ers. Recently I came across a sweet 80s Thumb NT with custom inlays and LEDs for about $2300, there was a bit of wear but nothing atrocious for an 80s instrument. 6ers are a bit of a different beast as I haven't seen many of those floating around. $3K seems a bit high but considering the relative rarity of these it may be worth it if you're really wanting one as they don't come up often. If you're looking to sell I think you could get $3K for an 80s NT 6 string if you're willing to wait for a buyer, if you're looking to move it I don't think $2500 is unreasonable.
With Warwick going back to wenge necks I'd be interested to see if prices for these older Thumbs stays the same, goes down or maybe even increases for the hand made Warwick vibe. Hard to say.

NP! I bought a 5 and was so impressed with Warwick that I wouldn\t mind upgrading to the 6. Love the 5 (thumb BO 06) so I can wait this guy out and get it at a sweet price. This was #23, rare, hand built, bubinga, etc. My 5 has a hand built look to it and sounds beautiful, so this 6 must be amazing!
