I'm not really sure when it comes to price, since those kind of basses have a big pricetag, but I can recommend Conklin, Warrior, Adamovic and Benavente.
Those last two are expensive for sure, around 3.5k - 5k for the kind of bass you are looking for.
Maybe you can find a used 9 stringer on the web..
