I'm not sure if anyone posted this yet, but there's a 9-string BeeBass Stinger on eBay right now. I was hoping to score it, but the bidding is past the amount I have available to pay.
Also, due to the recent fake Ritter Roya 7 sold at Guitar Center, I feel a hint of skepticism when I see ads for boutique basses (especially when they show up on eBay.) http://cgi.ebay.ca/Custom-Bee-fretle...item27b8848fc6

Also, regarding the GC Ritter, was that ever actually concluded to be a fake?

Jens Ritter only constructed one and it belongs to TB's very own John Turner. He still owns it. There's a very long thread on this subject. The Ritter website also lists John as the owner of the Roya 7. guitar center sells counterfeit copy of my ritter despite them being informed.

It first belonged to Andy Cervantez...he got it back in '08. I was at the NAMM show when he got it. It is, indeed, a real BEE. The fingerboard has since been poly'ed....thats the only mod I can see. It has some super aggressive tone. Anyone interested in good ERB should jump on this. |

Beautiful bass, although I'm generally not a fan of the BEE bodies I could easily see owning this one.
Two things you can know for sure: There isn't another one like it anywhere in the world, and it will be beautifully constructed just like every BEE made ..... |

| | | | I have to be honest, that is extreme overkill. Four strings are enough for me!
