90s Fender Jazz Bass V MIA (Passive) vs 2000+ American Std Jazz Bass V

In my country they are selling this MIA 1995 fender jazz 5 strings, they told me it is passive.

I notice the tuners are different than the ones in MIA Fender American Std V.

What other differences in quality, tone and construction can you tell ???
