I recently got a '95 Korean Made ATK for a cheap price at a local pawn shop, with some minor problems. One of the previous owner(s) decided to make the first position of the selector switch shut the pickup off, and the input jack can crackle loudly at times.
And another thing, how do 90's ATK's compare to the newer ones? Am i better off just getting this one repaired?

I have 2 90s ATKs and one 07 ATK. keep it and get it cleaned up and fixed up man. trust me

I don't know too much about wiring or soldering, so i'll have to get it professionally done to get a proper diagnosis. |

The older ones are better, and the faulty input connection is a fairly easy fix.
Would you post a photo of your 'new' axe?
