92 STINGRAY

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got an amazing deal. From what i can find out this bass is a 92 stingray, its blue with an ever so slight burst. Sounds like a Stingray. The best part is I traded in some stuff and not only got this bass but also and Aguilar GS412, and for much much less than I bet any of you would guess.

Not shown is the cab because its still in its grace period at the shop or something. I just need to get my Geddy in that picture. RED BLACK AND BLUE BABY

Trades to stores, even pawn shops, are RARELY in your favor - I'd be very curious as to what all you traded in to get this kit...

I figure that a '92 EBMM SR and a GS212 is about... what - $1200 worth of gear? Maybe a touch more, depending on condition...

I had a blue burst and maple ray just like that. It's a great look, congrats!

Oh trust me, it was in my favor considering I got exactly what I paid for for the bass in trade in value, plus the
Aguilar is in perfect condition.

Perhaps the shop mistakenly thought all Laklands go for the US-made prices...

Good job! So what did you pay for the 55-01 when you bought it? You're not that guy who traded his way from a paper-clip up to a house.... are you?

You know I was thinking about it... I payed 6something for the Lakland (I think) and the shop gave me 600 for it. As I said, very close to no loss.
