well as stated - is there a cheap good alternative to a warwick bass ? you know - a growly bass that screams "I am bad a** erm behind..."
think warwick thumb sound but perhaps streamer jazzman look alike |

If you want to talk about something that may have a similar vibe, then sure we can talk about that. But as far as the analogy or thread title, one answer.
that said, I've been able to find corvette standards for 400-450 before, and I'd certainly go that route first. |

I'd put Rockbass on par with Squier in terms of build standards, but relatively speaking, they aren't the same as their respective counterparts.

Its a new factory, new design. They use the same hardware and electronics as the german ones. Made in China. China stuff is good stuff in my experience. I had a chinese Squier that was amazing. Indonesia is hit or miss. Korea is pretty solid. Japan is great. Mexico is hit or miss, older the better.
etc
Rockbasses are great now. I have a Corvette basic 5 fretless. |
