ABG - Fender vs Ibanez

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi!

I've been looking at acoustic bass guitars (abg) lately to (maybe) replace my Fender BG-29. After shopping and trying to find the most abg around, I came to like 2 models that are in my price range : Fender Kingman (highlights : jazz bass neck, solid top) and Ibanez EWB30PDE (highlights : great exotic wood and fancy finish, built-in chorus and XLR out). Both have similar unplugged volume, overall quality similar. Anybody has experience with either or both? Anything to recommend? Something to say? Etc.?

Have the fender, love it so far. Did not like the neck of the ibanez. Did a lot of research and trials b4 buying, am happy with my decision. Great unplugged and even better thru amp. Good luck with your decision.

I've played the Kingman at the local GC and really like it.
No experience with the Ibanez.
