Does anyone own an acoustic bass guitar with fully intonatable bridge saddles?

I've looked all over for something like this for my Takamine. No luck.

I couldn't even find a compensated bridge.

I would be very interested if someone knows where to get one also.

Installing that kind of bridge can be done but requires modfication to the top (underneath) and can be a little pricey. Most importantly is finding the the right luthier or repair specialist to do it.

You could always go fretless and not worry about the bridge.

It's easier to achieve with separate bridge and tailpieces.

Much like this one (not a full acoustic but you get the idea)

Almost got it right

Spade2you...I should have mentioned that I am specifically interested in a fretted ABG. However, thanks for the suggestion.

Chris Larkin has made both full acoustics, and hollowbodys, with fully adjustable ebony bridges.

Sweet...I've looked into Larkin's work in the past; I'll have to revisit now. Thanks.

Another angle from Mr. Larkin's Homepage:

Beautiful.

I wonder how well the bridge saddles stay in place when playing? Apparently, each saddle is held in place by string tension.

I can't imagine them not staying still, if it didn't work well, Chris would have done something else.
