I think you'll be quite happy! I've been impressed with the build quality of Valenti basses (after owning one briefly and playing through several others) and those Nordstrand pickups are great. I have a 5 string ash/rosewood bass with the P pickup. The it's very warm, even on an ash body. And, the Hipshot bridge rocks.

Last but not least, yay for side dots only! Cool bass all around.
