ADDING PICKUPS TO A PBASS

Sign in to disble this ad
I HAVE A FENDER P USA MODEL I GOT RECENTLY, HAS ANYONE EVER ADDED J BASS PICKUPS ONE ABOVE AND ONE BELOW THE P BASS PICKUPS. i ALSO WANTED TO WIRE IT SO I CAN USE THE P AND THE J BASS PICKUPS LIKE TO DIFFERENT GUITARS. YOU KNOW A J AND P BASS TWO BASSES IN ONE. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO USE THE SAME CONTROLS. CAN THIS BE DONE AND DOE'S IT COST ALOT. I HAVE ALSO THOUGHT OF USING JUST A HUMBUCKER BELOW THE REGULAR PICKUPS. SO I CAN GET A DIFFERENT SOUND WITHOUT CHANGING GUITARS. SORRY ABOUT THE CAPITAL LETTERS, SOMETIMES THE CAPS LOCK STICKS ON MY OLD LABTOP. AND DOE'S THIS REQUIRE ALOT OF CUTTING ON THE GUITAR. I CAN GET SOMEONE TO DO IT.

Check out Fender's Stu Hamm Urge bass for some ideas. Try this for a PDF.
