Advantages of stack knob Jazz

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi , Ive seen a `62 RI Stack knob plate for sale on a local auction site , a wee bit pricey but was thinking of having the vtvt instead of the vvt . Has anyone done this conversion and noticed any great advantage or reduction in tone/volume etc ? , my Bass is nice and " hot " and i wouldnt want any reduction in output , im not sure of the resistance in thr RI pots . Thanks
BTW I havnt looked yet but any idea what they are worth new from Fender ? . Thanks
