Advice asked about Harley Benton HBZ-2005

I am looking for at least a moth already for a good 5-string bass, and the only one I've found that I think looks and sounds awesome, and costs 300$ or less is the Harley Benton HBZ-2005
I've heared a lot of good things about it, but one shop owner (who has never had this bass himselve) told me he thought it would be one of those basses that would be awesome for about a year, and then would start sound worse and worse

I really need some advice here, preferably from someone who has had a Harley Benton for a year or two already

Where are you located? What are your requirements for the bass? What kind of music are you playing/performing?
TB's collectivness can recommend you something, and also comment on that particular one you found. The more you feed us, the more we can help you :)

I live in Belgium.
My requierments for a bass seem rather hard to find, I want a bass (5 string) that has a verry powerfull, yet clear sound. Descent, but not over 300$
I want to play mostly metal, but I am open to explore every genre of music.
a few preferences (but neither of those are nesecary) :
long scale
passive
natural/wood color
