After 3 years of thinking of it: Squier TB Bass!
 

Got at last Squier Vintage Modified Precision TB Bass. Thomann´s shipper DHL took time as long as eternity to transport it and other stuff package to me, i ordered 17th Dec, it arrived today = 15 days, 8 full workdays of it.
Normally, Fed Ex needs 3-4 days.

I have my camera loaned to a friend, i will get it tomorrow for photos. In short, my TB has gorgeous evenly grained ash veneer 3TSB finish, it is very light, maybe a tad neck heavy, but no prob because of light total weight. Giant Wide Range HB marked Fender pickup has very powerful, NOT any muddy sounding tone when played through my Fender Rumble 100 amp, but deep & somewhat nasal and clanky sound in a good way. Neck is just as i want it, slightly thicker than medium. I think it has U shaped neck & 9,5 inch fretboard profile, and light maple satin finish.
I like specially of how resonant it is acoustically, and amplified sustain is good, my experience of it after 1 hour of playing.

I tried one of these a while ago... bloody lovely.

I'm really gassing for one. I've been looking for reviews on how they sound with rounds and a pick. Seeing someone sing its praises isn't subduing my GAS at all.

These are really nice! I have a 70's one and the Squire is far better.

I've been looking at these for awhile and just may spring for one; I see they're scheduled to arrive later in the month at MF.

I had one of these a while back,,bought it here off a member. He had it wired with a switch so that the pickups under the cover were either series or parallell. One setting was stock sounding,,then with the switch the other setting sounded more like a traditional "P" bass. Do a search,,I am sure you will find the info..Laurie.

I really wonder what is the big idea of this site`s image attachment politics. What is it, don`t they want member to give them good content totally FREE? What is left without image content? I know, we can write, but in occasion a picture is worth more that 10.000 words.
I deleted all my previous pics, except latest 3. If TalkBass does not need them, so be it.
I am not angry, only wondering.

Edit: if this site can`t get around by selling ads, when members give free content, something does not work right in it`s management. You can`t count to get some high profit from this kind of site. Internet money is at poker sites, porn, ect. similar sites, and in clearly criminal activities.

I can only guess that bandwidth costs money so you have to be a supporting member to lift this restriction?

OK, of course you are right. I will upload to my account at Photobucket from now on, i in fact already did. Check them.
Some other guitar sites allow a lot more pic content directly to them, i am used with them, my fav guitar site is TDPRI.

I can think of supporting TalkBass, not a bad idea after all. Not because for uploading capacity only, but to support this generally nice site.
