Alternate pickguards for a Rickenbacker Fireglo

I want to make my Fireglo unique looking but I don't want to spend $50-$60 on a new pickguard to find out it looks ugly. Here's a good collection of pickguards available. . Anyone have picks of Fireglos with non-white pickguards?

The only alternative for FG that looks good IMO are back painted gold ones.

Those pickguards in your link are all for the early 80s 4003 model that had the pickguard split in 2. Most likely that is the wrong one for your bass.

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

I have done polished and brushed steel ones, plus one custom where I heated it up and wiped oil over it so it went all rainbow colours and burnt bits.

The OP asked what they looked like on the bass. That is what they look like on the bass.

Okay, never mind, then. I thought the OP was looking to see what different PGs looked like on a Fireglo Rick bass.
