Your asking price isn't out of line, but I agree with those above who say your ad needs improvement. In fact, it's terrible. You've made pretty much every mistake you can make in a classifieds ad.

But there's also this ^^. Status is uncommon, but you don't have one of the desirable graphite neck models.
A situation not dissimilar to the Yamaha Attitude bass line. There's lots of interest in the top end model with the twin output jacks and the scalloped frets, but you can't give away the lower end models.

+1 including the $799 price. If you want to ask $800, ask $800. If you want to ask $750, ask $750. You're not a retail store - the whole x99.99 pricing on a TB classified is a red flag imho.

Are you trying to reach as many potential buyers as possible - TB, eBay, Craigslist, bulletin board at local college, etc?

You have to decide how badly you want to sell it, and how long you're willing to wait to get the price you want.

I think anyone's opinion of your current asking price is irrelevant - it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I once put two basses on E-Bay at reasonable prices. In 6 weeks I did not get one bid even close to what I would sell at. I ended up putting them on consignment at Bass Northwest in Seattle. They sold them both in less than 3 weeks for way more money than they were listed for on E-Bay and I still got more than I wanted in the first place. I guess its all timing. The bases were a vintage Tobias 5 fretless and an Alembic Persuader. This was about 10 years ago. I personally got $2000 for the Tobias and $1200 for the Alembic. I was asking $1900 and $1000 on E-bay. I'd bet your bass is fairly priced its just sometimes hard to sell stuff.
