American Deluxe Precision (2010 on) vs American Standard P (2012)

Hi all

I have been offered a NOS American Deluxe Precision. I am actually in the market for another P, but I wanted to stick with normal passive American Standard.

However, I am slightly tempted by this Deluxe.

It is the latest 2010 verion, with the P/J active/passive.

Beautiful colour, but I have concerns about the shielding and the pre-amp.

Any views?
