Any opinions on this Acoustic Bass Guitar?

Over the past little while I have been looking for acoustic basses so I can jam with my guitar friends, or in the hallway at school. I went the local guitar store and saw one called the Tanglewood Tab1-CE.

What do you guys think? Do you think it would work for jamming out in the park with some friends or in the hall?

I don't know anything about that particular bass, but unplugged you're not gonna hear the bass with acoustic guitars playing, especially outdoors.

Mine is a short scale.

Essentially a bass-guitar.

I bought mine for same reasons as yours.

All acoustic basses...yes even the mighty String Bass/ Double Basses are nearly mute unless amplified. [ I know.. some DB Forum folk may disagree...and I promise you they use some form of amplification at gigs]

My Solution: Any brand: Acoustic/Electric bass w/ piezo> Korg Pandora> batteries> headphones> jam anywhere any time.

Unplugged? If you are in a quiet area of a Park or wherever; you can hear yourself...by yourself but not up against even the cheesiest acoustic guitar. Good luck with that..LOL..
