Pointy headstock only (and there aren't over here) should be welcome over here

And maybe lose the whole matching headstock color thing (except for natural, of course).
Some better stock bridges would be an improvement and I hear the stock strings aren't that great. I really like the electronics except for the pots. I don't have anything against sig basses, but just not those particular sigs. More tort guards would be nice and they could move the pickups a bit closer to the neck for my liking. And I sort of prefer trefoil tuning keys with exposed gears.
But other than that I sort of like them. Though I wish they'd make a 7 string with 19mm spacing and a chunky neck.

Do my eyes deceive me, or do they look less "reliced" as before? I wish that ESP's website offered a look at the backsides, so I can determine whether or not the vintage models still have the "horse head" pattern of faux belt-rash inherent of previous models.
EDIT: I just took another look: the Vintage 204s do not state "distressed" finish. Not sure if they are or not. Either way, they still have my interest.

| | | | The BB looks right and I like the sound of a P/J with Quarter Pounders. Maybe I'll get one. It also doesn't help that every LTD I pick up seems to have great build quality. Although I don't own any ESP/LTD basses, I did have one of the cheaper LTD guitars for a while. It wasn't really my style, but the thing was otherwise pretty close to flawless. |

BB is new to me, as I have not seen that before. Looks like an homage to a BC Rich (I forget which one). If I were to buy one, I'd lose the thumbrest, though.

| | | I noticed the new ESP line a few days ago. I really like the BB-4, ash Vintage 214 and Js look great, the fretless Vintage 214 is sweet, and the TS-4 is awesome(IMHO) because I loved the Replacements back in the day!
