Anyone else own a Greco EB-2 copy?

I did a search but couldn't find one of these mentioned anywhere on TB. It's currently on it's way to me from Japan ....

I've owned several Grecos - a couple of Thunderbird copies, an EB-3L copy, a Les Paul copy, a Ric 4001 copy, and all have been fabulous instruments. If this one plays half as good as it looks it will be very nice indeed.

Thats a nicer one as "lawsuit" (I use that term loosely) basses go.
Most have bolt on necks. You lucked out and got a Set Neck.
NICE!
Made mid to late 70's most likely....

1987 actually - smack in the middle of the golden era for Greco. Their mid 80 to mid 90s stuff is the best quality they produced IMO.

Very nice indeed! ...not a dead knock-off of an EB-2 though, I don't see the "Baritone" switch... not that you'd likely need it.

My apologies!
I could tell that was an anomaly, especially among "lawsuit" instruments.... most of them are bolt on copies.... and rather cheap.
That, is a gem.

Nope, but I do have a Gibson EB-2. '69, factory dual large humbuckers and stereo outs. Plays/sounds/looks great. Bought in 1990 for $200.

I had an EB-2D myself a few years ago. Nice score on yours for $200 - try doing that now
