Anyone put a lot of miles on an American Special neck yet?

I picked up an al-maple American Special neck for a project that I expect to be my #1 or #2 bass when it's done. I'm curious how the weird satin/poly neck finish will hold up over time, anyone play theirs a lot yet?

I play mine quite a bit, no problems so far. I've only had it for a couple years though. The american specials are a pretty new line.

I've played mine exclusively on the last 12-13 jobs we've had and (with the exception of changing over to my 75RI for a couple of songs) haven't touched my other Ps.

Holds up like a champ and is comfortable as all get out.

I have nothing but good things to say, thus far, about the bass as a whole.
