This is a pretty bright group on this forum.

I've yet to see someone come up with a specific question (such as a make/model ID) and NOT get their answer in full, usually with a link to even MORE info.

Looks like variation of flying V. Lots of companies made versions with the V'ish body.

ya for a one year only limited production bass it is a little bizzare looking compared to an explorer/star/kelly bass.
washburn had that same theme going back then with the black/red.
