Bass with blue light near EQ
 

I once saw a bass guitar that was being played that had a blue light near the EQ i loved the look of the bass and the sound.

Anyone know what type of bass this is or the name??

I doubt you saw me playing it, but I once owned a Lakland 55-01 that I had "tricked-out". Black with a rosewood fingerboard, and a Black abalone "Music Man" pickguard. The pickups were (2) DiMarzio "Ultra-Jazz" and the preamp/electronics were Audere. The Audere system comes with a blue indicator light for battery condition. I mounted mine on the face of the bass amongst the control knobs.

It was my workhorse bass for several years, and one of my all-time favorite basses. No idea where it is today however.

did'nt Alembic have something like that?
