From what I can hear it sounded pretty good! Do you do a lot of slap on your worship team? That is something I was never good at mastering, but my team does mostly Matt Redman, Hillsong type stuff, not any gospel type tunes. Keep up the good work! Maybe get a frontal view video sometime if thats possible!

Thanks alot!! Yeah my pop and slap is very minimal right now...Lol. Thats something I need to work more on. Ive never really had the feel for slap and pop. Im not really an aggressive player. I will definitely work on it because I know its a tool and technique that I need in my arsenal. Thanks alot though...I will got some frontal views soon!!!

Nothing wrong with full frontal bass! And NOTHING is better than worship bass!

I'm a recovering drum addict also - after 30 years I just got tired of drums and switched to bass for the last 13 years. Although I never use them anymore, I just can't give up my set.

I'm not as good a bassist as you are so I can't offer any critique. You sound better than I do, nice work! I have thought about taking my Hero HD helmet cam to worship band rehearsal some night though more for grins than to extract anything useful from it. I'd want to mount it on the headstock to make it a real bass cam! One of the vocalists on my team is a gadget hound so I know I could count on him to ham it up for the camera. I normally do record rehearsals on a Tascam DR-5 recorder. Not so much to critique my playing as to have a recording of how the team actually performs each song to practice against the last two days (our rehearsals are on Thursday night). Occasionally it is also useful to review the worship leader's comments and requests about certain songs. In the heat of the moment they can be confusing and at my age it is easy to forget them. If I have them on tape I can figure them out later.
