Question Which Bass make is best?

I play a Fender but just from pure interest I was wondering what you guys consider to be the best basses?

This should be interesting for the 10,000th time.

I don't like any of those brands, maybe you should update the list?

You forgot several hundred brands of basses in your list, many of which are superior to the ones you have listed. Just Sayin'.

No. The best bass is always the one you don't have yet.

There are far too many to list. Sadowsky, Rob Allen, and Modulus are some of my favs, but are pretty pricey . I like what you mentioned though. Those are the main ones on the 2k or less club, routinely seen in catalogs.

So you know where my vote goes

Cheers,
Wallace

Maybe, but those which are listed are what your average Joe would buy if he were to walk into his local store.

And it's obviously MusicMan...

Ya, but which is the best bass for Polka?

I vote for none of the above, based on my extremely biased opinion!

^This^ is the ulimate truth here, and why a poll like this is ultimately a huge fail and utterly useless.

Where's the 'none of the above' option?

Because, ignoring the fact that I don't own any of the listed makes, the answer to 'which bass make is best?' is both 'all of them' and 'none of them'.

I do not recognize the sovereignty of this poll since it does not recognize my personal brand that I've been thinking about building for quite sometime...eventually.

Maybe I posted in a (possibly futile) hope that you will read on this forum for a few months and gather information before you decide to start topics with no intellectual reasoning behind it. Sorry, must have been up on the wrong foot today.
