Bass players just got put out of business |
Much better than that other robot bassist....:) |
What a shock, a machine that plays mechanical music. Folks, people have been working on this concept for about 200 years. No news here. The real shock is: why do musicians compose mechanical music? And why would we listen to it? And IF you have to have this kind of sound, why would you expect a human to play it? |
Guess we'll all have switch to slap-only to stay in the game. |
But who's gonna stand at the back looking cool and get all the singer's and guitarists groupie cast off's! Let alone openly mock the drummer! |
I'd like it to try some YYZ. good luck with that. btw, It plays with a pick. Is it now appropriate for that kind of thing to be frowned upon? ;P |
LOL, I can hear it now, "He would have made a robotic guitar, but this was easier 'cause the bass only has four strings!" |

I thought it was cool. |

It'll never fit in a gig bag, so no worries. |

There's one thing that this will never have, the "human factor". There's more to a bassline, than just having a clean automated bassline. It's this human factor's inconsistencies, which make or break a song (IME). |
you would understand if you had robot ears..... j/k.... seriously though. What does this do that a synth and sequencer cant do for a lot cheaper and a lot smaller footprint? looks like a big waste of money to me. |

I thought that was pretty cool that kid has a future in robotics. |

...and how long do we suppose it takes to get this thing set up to play one song? I think my job is safe. |
unable to perform a slide it seems |
I like the rotating picks .. now I want to see the attachment to make it play finger-style! |
