Bass for playing live and record, please help

well im trying to buy a new bass, and i already have this ones:

California squier jazz bass
fretless vintage modified squier.

i want to buy a bass for playing live and record.

the bass im seeing are:
Rockbass Corvette 5 string
Warwick Rockbass Fortress
Warwick Rockbass Corvette Premium - 5c - Natural High Polish
WARWICK Corvette Standard (German, used)
Spector Legend Custom 5


and here in argentina we have this passive bass (malosetti signature, hes a bassist from argentina):
· 5 string, solid wood
· one piece neck (Neck Trhu W/Ultra Access) walnut and ash.
· rosewood 34" y 26 (Jim Dunlop 6100).
· solid body of mahogany.
· Mics Seymour Duncan Basslines (1 Soap Bar & 1 JB-2)
· bridgeSchecter Custom String-Thru Body.
· grover


im a all around player and idont want to buy a fender because i dont want to go that way, so im trying to search for 4 strings and 5 strngs basses with extended scales for soloing and for using it for latin jazz, or jazz.


if you can give me another advice of a similar bass in the same price range of another brand, or another model i will apreciate,
do you think this kind of basses are good for playing live and record?

Out of those, I would go with the Spector. I've heard the new non-German Warwicks are rather sub-par.

It it would suit you, also look at the Schecter Hellraiser 5 or Stiletto Studio 5.

MIK ProSeries are almost on par with MIG ones, only half their price. Present MIC RockBass are nowhere near old ones and can stand MIK ProSeries down to hardware and pickups. Of course material, and fit and finish are not the very same, but again, another half of ProSeries price tag

I play G&L L2500s fretted and frettless and have been very happy with the live sound or direct in to the mixing board for recording.

And FYI I'd record thru a nirvana black oil ebony fingerboard 5er and Peavey Cirrus Bxp 5er with Warwick ProFet head and Peavey Tvx 2x10" 4ohm cab.

I've had the Warwick Rockbass Corvette Premium V, fretted and fretless.
Played them live and for recording.
I think they are great basses for the money.

is a corvette std 4 german 98



do you think is worth the money?, is a german warwick, but i think someone change the mics to active seymour duncan

what do you think about it?
