Got the idea from the "new" 2013 '74 reissue @$2299.
The new 2013 reissue is not only a Std. but it has a maple neck with white inlays. And of course plastic thumb and knobs.
This Badboy not only has passive and active unlike the std., I personally like the black blocks on maple better than white. You can see them. And it is a heck of a lot less money
Anyway, that is how I came up with this project.
