| | Registered User | | Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Milan, Italy | | | the very best I ever had (and deeply miss) is Ibanez Doug Wimbish Bass #1 It was a Custom made Soundgear with AFR (reverse) P and J configuration and electronic (two band equalizer) full maple neckthru construction
A small, well balanced yet heavy bass with an unmistakeable electronic with tight lows and ringin' trebles, capable of a lot of output and perfect (a bit like a MIJ Marcus Miller's) to get listened to with slap as well, even in an environment of deep saturation and downtuned distortion (I personally experience just that)
