I currently own a peavey millennium bxp 5-string bass and it sounds totally awesome. it's a definite keeper. and I am planning on purchasing an Ibanez sr305 sometime soon. |

Then try out the $800 and up basses. You might just decide to save more money and hold off. +1 on the Mex. Fenders..................... |

Fenders..................... | I've tried and tried to hear a difference between my mexican and all the US passive models and I just cant. so far the only difference is when I play my Mexican-made Jazz, I get hungry for Taco Bell.

| | | | Not sure it's the best bass as I had to have the tone pots replaced as they seemed unresponsive, but I would not part with my Washburn T24 which I got for sub $400 Australian dollars. |

Squier Classic Vibe 60's P Bass
The vintage frets and near flawless construction results in a bass that plays like "buttah"
(I never understood when people said their bass plays like buttah until I played this one)
I can spend hours playing this thing without hand fatigue - and the sound is perfect.
China is really showing off to the world by building stuff like this at this price - Get One! |
