How do they play? | The cool thing about the last one, the Modulus Q6, is the blue tinted neck. They said they haven't done a tinted neck in years. It came out awesome!
I haven't yet swapped in the Lane Poor pickups and East preamp, so sound isn't awesome yet (I hate EMGs). The playability isn't set yet, either, as it seems the neck needs to be shimmed and angled a bit, because the bridge is slammed and the neck is straight. Not enthusiastic about it yet, but it'll get there.
The Zon is the most playable instrument I've ever touched. It's been "home", the benchmark, for me for the last 6 years. |

It wasn't as cool, just plain old blue flamed maple top. But the EMG pickups REALLY turned me off. I guess my TBX 6er with the three Barts really spoiled me. So I turned it down.
But yours really has the LOOK, if you can just get the sound out of it! |

Can a bass be considered art?
I think so. Quote:

Won't have time to do the swap until Christmas, though, so we'll see. |
