| | I love cheap basses. | | | | | Boss Overdrive. I know there are probably "better" overdrives out there, but I picked this one up used on the TB classifieds and it sounds SICK.

Nice bass!

It's just... Small. I have to wear this bass lower than usual just to get the position of my arms right. The biggest problem was the string spacing. They're so narrow. Took me a while to adjust, but after that it's a pretty cool bass.

I paid less than a hundred quid for both of them because everyone thinks that all Stagg gear sucks lol. Alder bodies, lovely necks and amazing low action on my blue one particularly. Worst thing was not getting the one that went on fleabay for 45 quid recently which I should have bought and made into a fretless. I've owned lots of premium basses but these rock. The machine heads are the only cheap thing about these basses but they go for peanuts. |

I always liked picks when others use them but hate playing with them. Now I can play as usual but I can pick out lines with extra attack and punch as well as easily palm damp for a chunky thud as and when. best of all these things are cheap and they don't go walkies. |

I've barely put it down since.

| | Registered User Endorsing Artist: No. (I wish) lol | | Join Date: May 2010 Location: Vancouver, BC Canada | | Hard to say... I hadn't bought anything for a year and a half, then went sort of buying crazy beginning November 2012.
1. Warwick-Rockbass Alien Deluxe 6 (For tentative March 2013 delivery... I'm placing my bet that this might be the winner from my buying binge.)
2a. Gibson Les Paul Studio in Fireburst finish. (I had always wanted a Les Paul & jumped on it when Sweetwater had this on sale for $599.)
2b. Orange Micro Terror with 2 PPM108's, as I didn't own a guitar amp.
3. Ken Smith/KSD Burner 6 B-Stock from zZounds. (When I learned my Alien 6 was going to arrive in 2013, I wanted to buy something else in the meantime.)
4. Kala U-Bass SUB Solidbody B-Stock from an eBay seller. (Sort of on a whim. I wanted it & bought it.)
5. Gibson Flying V in classic white finish. (This was completely unintentional. Sam Ash sent a sale email. I wasn't planning to read, but chose to open it anyway. First thing I saw was a Flying V for $799. I know they normally retail in my area for $1200 so I thought about it overnight and bought the next day.)
6. Squier Katata bass. (My wife bought this for me for Christmas. Wives that buy basses are irreplaceable. )
