Bass:

Epiphone Zenith

Gear:

Fractal Audio AxeFX II
Fractal Audio MFC-101
Lectrosonics IS400 Wireless
Rolls RPQ160b Para EQ
ART PS4x4 Pro Line Conditioner
Crown Audio I-T5000 HD Amp
AccuGroove Tri 210L

My favorite piece would have to be the AxeFX II but I sure do love the wireless as well. It was a VERY good year. The AccuGroove Tri 210L was really tough to find as AccuGroove isn't in business anymore but I really wanted it to pair with my AccuGroove Whappo Jr.

Turock: I learned to play through an instructor, then I got an amp and now I play through that.

Easily my 60th Anniversary P-bass!!

Also, runner up would be my Dillion 5204. It's a cheapie, it's a knockoff, but I love that bass!! It's my flats SCPB.

My Sadowsky RV4, classic looks (sunburst and rosewood), epic tone, vintage tone control for a wide variety of epic tones

This bass does not need super low action to play well and it is very resonant when I play without an amp. All around a great purchase..plus it arrived on my daughters birthday, so in my mind that's it's birthday too!

For me it was the Boss RC-30 Loop Station.

I use it a lot. A great practice tool. Select a rythm, play a quick chord progression and/or a melody and practice your instrument.

But the Strymon Mobius is a close second. It's fantastic.

I added several Peavey basses to the stable in 2012, but the gem of them all is my GV. It came to me, via the Guitar Center used site, looking like NOS, with the plastic still on the control cavity cover and the original batteries. It's my first graphite-necked bass, and I absolutely love the evenness of all the strings and the "just right" mix of highs and deep lows it gives me. It may not work in all situations, but in the band I'm in now, it's just about perfect.

TC Electronics BG250. Great tone, 35#, loud and affordable.

I don't think I got any actual bass gear last year, but I did add another synth, Waldorf Blofeld kb. Amazing piece of gear, just the same.

Easy for me....

Bass: MTD 535
Amp: Jule Monique (just incredible and actually lives up to the hype)
Cabs: Bergantino AE210 x2

Surprisingly, I am pretty much GAS free.

Tough call. My IEM system is pretty sweet. I also added a Roscoe Century Fretless 5 and started a build for a Century Fretted 5.

Without question my ESP B-206SM. Moving from 4 to 6 strings has really revolutionized my playing and made me a fervent 6-stringer. It's a great bass, great sound at an UNREAL price.

Secondly, my Boss ME-50B (alongside my external pedal and Korg Pitchblack tuner).
