After years of buying staggering amounts of gear, I don't think I bought anything in 2012. Hand injury killed my GAS.

I just got the Orange terror bass combo too. I Freakin love it. If I add any effects, the tone is degraded. Awesome. One trick ponies are good if you love the trick.

That's awesome!

I upgraded my amp to a Carvin bx1500 through a Carvin brx10.2 neo. Three times the power of my old Peavey TNT 115 combo, and half the weight!

Sansamp... no longer do I need to bring an amp to church to stop the sound guy from having complete eq and volume control.

This is not neccessarily a "bass" thing, but my band dumped our huge PA and bought two of the Bose L1 Model 2 systems. Its the best piece of gear, bar none! Expensive? Yes! Does it work well outside? Not so much. But worth it! For every medium sized venue and smaller, it is perfect. Our complete set up, from PA to sound check, used to take us about 90-120minutes or so. Now, we are done in 30 minutes. We have no amps, everything is run direct and we mic the kick and snare. We now have much better control over our stage volume, thus creating a much more enjoyable show for all, band and customers. These days any big show we play the PA is provided.

We've been using two Bose stick/sub combo's for several years.
I can build the FOH in well under 10 minutes.

/\ me too, a small but wonderful upgrade from pedal tuners. I won my first one last year in a premier guitar giveaway and have since bought a few more and I just leave one on my different basses.

I bought a Snark one but broke it almost immediately, the clip ons that have the longer "stalk" are not as durable. I like the low profile ones like this planet waves copy
