I upgraded my amp to a Carvin bx1500 through a Carvin brx10.2 neo. Three times the power of my old Peavey TNT 115 combo, and half the weight!

Its the best piece of gear, bar none! Expensive? Yes! Does it work well outside? Not so much. But worth it! For every medium sized venue and smaller, it is perfect. Our complete set up, from PA to sound check, used to take us about 90-120minutes or so. Now, we are done in 30 minutes. We have no amps, everything is run direct and we mic the kick and snare. We now have much better control over our stage volume, thus creating a much more enjoyable show for all, band and customers. These days any big show we play the PA is provided.

I can build the FOH in well under 10 minutes.

I bought a Snark one but broke it almost immediately, the clip ons that have the longer "stalk" are not as durable. I like the low profile ones like this planet waves copy | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
