I love my padded Planet waves straps. I know it's a small thing but hell, I can play all night with these things -I don't even feel my guitar anymore. Seriously, prior to them I used to get horrible back aches!!! | +1. Planet Waves bass strap. |

Finally bit the bullet and spent the dough. And it's "paid for itself" several times over as it's been my #1 go-to since I got it back in January. Used it on on every single session and probably 90% of live dates in 2012. |

Seriously though, I have to say I'm somewhat shocked by how great my rig sounds...1984 Peavey Fury (single Super Ferrite PUP) into a Hartke Kickback 12.
I get compliments on the tone every time we play out... I guess even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while...

I think the GB amp was the best purchase last year.
2012 was a very good year. I'm very greatful for my new gear.

But it'd probably be the Gibson Thunderbird SS, or all the parts, paint and work for the Squier Jaguar SS.

But, the best would be the Ibanez ATK 750QM! It's one of those things, if it were lost or stolen I would have to get another one. But, they're kind of rare, so I would have to settle for a different model.

Rest of the guys are buying pedals, emulators and "stuff" to get "vintage sound". I got it with not so much fuss.
