I'm in as well, but mine is currently apart. I recently purchased a Fiesta Red PB-57 from an online retailer, and when it arrived, I wasn't happy with the color. It was more Fluorescent Pink than Fiesta Red.

So currently, the body is with Mario at The Guitar Mill getting a proper nitro refin/re-relic in Dakota Red which I think will look better with the gold anodized pickguard.

Here's a "before" pic...I'll post an "after" when the body returns from Tennessee and I reassemble it.

It is a wonderful bass, by the way. I love the not-too-fat "B" neck profile and the Lollar PU's.

Here's my "after" pic...just got the body back today from The Guitar Mill. Mario refinished it in Dakota Red nitro, with medium relicing. I am beyond pleased with how it looks now.

I bought this P from Bino recently....love it.

I've had ALOT of basses over the last few years and this is one of the best playing & sounding of the bunch.

It's light weight, has the broken-in feel, resonant and the Lollar pickups sound so good I put a set in my Jazz bass!

Here's a short video of me playing it live, sounded HUGE!

That's my 19 y.o. son on slide.

You're right, it's an absolute joy!

He was just learning to play guitar (Blink182, AC/DC) about 8 years ago when I played him a Susan Tedeschi song with Derek Trucks playing slide on it, that's all he needed to hear, he's been eating up every blues guitar great he can get his hands on ever since and is now in college study jazz composition!

cheers! you get #21.

I gotta comment on two things - first, Bino is a great guy to deal with, I bought my '83 RI P-Bass from him and he is one of the most honest, decent sellers I've met and and an overall great guy!

second, kudos on the tight tone and thumbs up for raising a fine musician. I love the vibe the whole band has, it's apperant that everyone on stage is having fun.

Been my main bass since July!
There's also some AUTHENTIC wear and tear on it, right above the bridge pick up!
