Black tuners that will fit in a Squier VM Jazz without any more drilling?

Already ordered DR Black Beauties, a new control plate, Black Gotoh 201 bridge, and black knobs, now to find some nice tuning pegs.

After reading seeing your post, I measured the black Schaller BML tuners on my Warmoth fretless and compared them to my Squier VM fretless j-bass, and they both measure 1/2" at the top of the peg.

That's awesome do the smaller mounting holes line up too?

I believe Warmoth's website has black Schaller tuning keys that should be the ticket.

I didn't even think to look, but I compared the two, and the Squire's mounting screw holes look to be just a bit wider than the Schaller tuners.

I'd like something that would just drop in if anyone knows any.

As long as the 'big hole' is the right size it is an easy replacement.

You won't have to predrill any 'small holes' you can just push hard on the screw and it will set itself in.

It will be easier than the other mods even with that little inconvenience.

I've been looking too. The guys at guitarpartsresource.com told me that the Hipshot HB-7 should be a direct replacement. I haven't gotten them yet, so I can't confirm.
