Here's my Blade Levinson Rockbass. Recently picked it up from a small store in Kentucky for next to nothing. It has a ton of mid and is perfect for rock but is pretty versatile. Like Wrecksinc said there are only 150 of these and I have no idea how I managed to come by one. I emailed Blade about the bass and they informed me that all the hardware is made by Gotoh and that these were handcrafted in Japan. The neck is literally perfection.
I really like this bass but I am after a Blade Jazz bass(b1's b2's b3's b4's) so if anyone is interested in a swap then please contact me. Until I get my hands on one I will be rocking away on this Swiss beauty!

Here is a video of my Blade Rockbass. Please excuse my playing but the video does demonstrate both the active and passive tone for those who are interested in the sound of the bass. I switched to passive somewhere near the end.

Great looking Blade you have there Antrax Thor, thanks for the video link. I've only seen these Rockbasses but never heard or seen them in action. Very cool.

Hi there Blade owners, have any of you put a pickguard on your old bass?

I am talking about those made in Japan basses from the 90's. I have a white one and want to put a tort jazz style pickguard on it to have it look less "naked".

I have contacted Pickguardian and Pickguard heaven and it seems to be either something they don't do or it would be expensive, like 80-100 USD.
Also I'm in Iceland so I can't bring or send the bass to have it measured to make the pickguard.

Any ideas?
