Honestly, I don't pay a whole lot of attention to that for spacing (unless it's nut width )

yeah kind of confusing that so many of these and bill nash's basses, which are obviously inspired by 60's fenders aesthetically, end up with 70's pickup spacing.

I think it's how the bodies are cut..seems like more of a standard...

is he not specifying what he wants one way or the other? any of the suppliers will do either spacing.

The spacing is up to the customer. I requested 60's spacing on the Olympic White Jazz posted earlier in this thread.

Jaymi -- any recordings or videos comparing the BV Jazz with 60's spacing vs 70's spacing?

edit... the current owner informed me that this LPB one is 70's spacing
